我寫信問朋友西方的情形，他的回信簡單有力——Mainstreaming is done all over the industrialized democratic west, it is considered part of human rights to be part of ordinary society。
No Country for Old Man后與同事的討論，我們都看到不同的東西，有不同的見解。
For a stay of 30 days in Taiwan, no visa is needed, and no extension is allowed.
Application of visa is needed for a continuous stay in the country for more than 30 days.
1. 2 photos - passport photo with white background
2. Invitation letter - letter to the authority stating the purpose of invitation and the period of stay
3. Round trip ticket - if you are yet to confirm the return date and have not purchase a return ticket, the travel agency can help in "creating" the itinerary
4. Bank statement
5. payment - travel agency charged RM200, which is ~RM50 extra from doing it yourself. I consider the price reasonable.
The longest visa duration you can get in Malaysia is 2 months. For any longer stay, you have to extend in Taiwan, apply for extension within 15 days from the expire date. Every extension will give you another 2 months for free (immediate process), and you are allowed to do it twice, making it 6 months stay in total.
Update by 2014 May
Most of the travel agent adjusted the service charge to RM300.
If you apply by yourself at KL, the address is Yayasan Tun Razak Level 7, morning session receiving application, afternoon session issuing the collection.
